SoFA Street Fair — SJZ Mobile Boombox stage presented by Live & Local SJ

We’re less than a week away from the spring edition of SoFA Street Fair! This Sunday, April 22 we’ll have some of our favorite local musicians on the San Jose Jazz Mobile Boombox stage next to the Ritz.

2:00 p.m. — School of Rock House Band

The School of Rock house band returns to open up the Live & Local stage. School of Rock San Jose gives young aspiring musicians the tools and platform to rock. See some of San Jose’s youngest talent cover your favorite rock songs.

3:00 p.m. — Marissa Muroaka

Marissa Muroaka is a singer-songwriter from Sunnyvale who builds songs with a reverse pedal and a Fender Jazzmaster. Muroaka is influenced by KT Tunstall, Eisley and Bon Iver and uses the soul and rhythm of folk pop for her mellow sound.

4:00 p.m. — POUNDERS

POUNDERS are a San Francisco Bay Area rock trio with infectious melodies, catchy hooks, driving bass lines and punchy songs. They draw influence from rock, punk, metal, dance and hip-hop artists for a unique blend of energetic tunes with attitude.

5:00 p.m. — Casey Wickstrom

Casey Wickstrom is a singer songwriter who creates tunes influenced by Ben Harper and Paul Simon with a loop pedal and acoustic guitar. You’ll get a sneak peak of some fresh songs before the release of a brand new studio album on April 30.

6:00 p.m.Bird and Willow

Bird and Willow consists of songwriting siblings Jared and Shiloh. The duo’s songs express emotions, tackle relationships and tell personal stories set to acoustic guitar and string arrangements.

7:00 p.m. — Bylines

Bylines is a San Jose indie rock band comprised of five good friends who reconnected through music as a creative outlet. They work hard to create a unique sound and embrace of philosophy of letting their music unfold freely.

8:00 p.m. — The Renegades

See a different side of Ren Geisick with The Renegades! Ren has been a Live & Local favorite with her solo jazz and soulful sound — now you’ll have a chance to see her get funky with a full band.
